Using Queries in Exposure Management
Your inventory can be a large data set. You may want to filter the view of your data to just what you want to see.
You can sort the columns to find what you are looking for but you can also use the Censys Search Language to dig into the data. The Search Language uses the fields listed in the Exposure Management Asset schema docs.
If you purchased the Advanced or Enterprise plan, you can use the Search API to save queries and run them when needed. For more information, see the Search API site.
You can save queries by clicking the bookmark icon next to the search bar and providing a name. Saved queries can be used any anyone on your team with access to Exposure Management, including through the API.
Run Saved Queries
Open the Saved Queries menu to view and manage your team’s saved queries. From this menu, you can run searches, edit the name, copy a query, or remove it from the list.
The left area of the Inventory page shows the most common values of interesting fields for the assets in the inventory table with a count of assets.
Click a value to run a query that returns the matching assets numbered.
Hover over a value to see an include and exclude option.
Clicking exclude populates the search bar with a query that removes the assets with that attribute from the results.
