Managing a Censys Team
Access Team & Member Management
Team management is not available through our API, so to begin, login to the Censys web app.
Open the user menu in the top right corner of the page and select My Account from the dropdown menu. Then, navigate to the Team tab on the page.
This page displays a list of your team members, whose role is either team member or admin. Team members can view their full team, but cannot make any changes. Team admins can update the team details and manage members of the team.

Invite a New Member
Team admins can invite people to join the team as a member.
To invite someone to join your team, scroll to the bottom of the page to the Invite a User section. Provide the email address of the user you wish to invite in the text box, and click the Invite button.
Once they accept the invitation, the new user is part of your team and you can manage them like other team members.
Note: Invitations expire after a few days. If the invitation is not accepted within its validity period, a new invitation will need to be generated.
Note: If the member you are trying to invite has an existing Censys account, please contact support@censys.io to get them added to your team.

Troubleshoot a Login Issue
If you or person you've invited to your team is having difficulty with the email verification or you're seeing errors related to a retry flow or invalid token, please visit the Recover Account page:https://accounts.censys.io/recover-account
Change a User’s Role
To change someone’s role, scroll to the Team Members table and click the options menu on the far right side of the row to see the options. Admins can be changed to members, and members can be changed to admins.
There is no limit on the number of admins a team can have.

Demote an Admin

Remove a Member
To remove someone from the team, scroll to their name in the Team Members table and select "Remove from team" from the dropdown options menu on the far right side of the row. Users with an admin role cannot be removed.
A member who has been removed from a team will still retain their Censys account and be able to query Censys with a free account.
Configuring Single Sign-On for Your Team
Censys offers a SAML-based SSO option for your team with your choice of Identity Provider. The other guides in this section will show you how to set up this option.
